Due to the massive decline in monthly visits to sites from $ 8.5 billion to $ 4.7 billion in the last two years, Facebook has to give its long-standing second position among the top US websites on YouTube, according to a new study.

Although Facebook’s traffic grew, it’s not enough to compensate for that loss, Facebook previously reported that in the second quarter of this year, the number of daily active users remained flat in North America and went down to Europe.

On the other hand, owned by Google’s parent alphabet, YouTube has seen increased traffic and an increase in viewing, the study said, stating that Google’s position as the largest US website remains undamaged.

The researcher’s project that Amazon is set to surpass Yahoo as the fourth most visited website in the United States in the next few months.
